Envision At the beginning of the project, I couldn't find any inspiration for my pumkin online so i had to develop an original idea and think creatively. I started out with a zombie and the further along I got, the more I figured out what I wanted my final product to be. I ended with one side being a zombie face and the other side looking like its head was blown up exposing its brain. Engage and Persist When I decided how I wanted the back of the pumpkin to look I couldn't figure out how to do it. I couldn't cut open the pumpkin because that would make it rot faster and I couldn't think of any materials I could use. I chose to use scrunched up tape and paint over it but it wouldn't stay on the pumpkin. I ended up gluing it down and putting another piece on the back of it so there would be a smooth transition from pumpkin to tape. Develop Craft Using tape as a part of my artwork was difficult, obviously I know how to use tape but I wasn't sure how to make it look like skin or transition into the pumpkin. It ended up not being too hard and it looked ok when I painted it. I tried to make the paint on the back look like blood but it didn't turn out how I wanted it to. I learned from it though and if I did it again it would look better.
